A new row has been added to the Transportation industry table of the Regulation on Industries
Regulation Amending the Regulation on Lines of Business
The Regulation on Amending the Regulation on Industries, prepared by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, has been published in the Official Gazette and entered into force. With this amendment, an update has been made to the Transportation industry table, which is among the industries falling within the scope of Law No. 6356 on Trade Unions and Collective Labour Agreements. A new activity row has been added to the table of industry no. 15, titled Transportation, located in ANNEX-1 of the Regulation.
Although this amendment does not directly alter the text of Law No. 6356, it closely concerns the industry lists taken as a basis for procedures such as the determination of authority for trade unions and industry determination. Employers and trade unions operating in the relevant sector should review the impact of the newly added activity row on their industry compliance processes. The Regulation entered into force on the date of its publication, and its provisions are executed by the Minister of Labour and Social Security.
